The Psychoanalytic Center of California [PCC]. was registered as a Nonprofit Organization in 1984. It is a Component Member of the International Psycho-Analytic Association.

The special interest of the PCC is to explore treatment modalities that reach beyond the realm of classical neuroses. Research into primitive mental states, including narcissistic, borderline, autistic and psychotic states, is an important addition to our understanding of the mind and to the development of more complete treatment of serious mental disorders.

The Public Health Association of Australia [PHAA]provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on public health. The Association is also involved in advocacy for public health policy, development, research and training.

PHAA has branches in every state and territory. Membership of more than 1800 individuals spans the health spectrum and over 40 public health related occupations are represented. PHAA has twelve special interest groups for members to meet with those who have similar interests and passions, to exchange information and to develop policy positions and papers.

  • Mejorar el tratamiento, la rehabilitación y el cuidado de pacientes con trastornos mentales, retardación u otras condiciones emocionales
  • Promover la investigacón cient璗ica, la educacón profesional en psiquiatría y areas afines y la prevencón de la incapacidad por enfermedad mental
  • Optimizar los estandares de todos los servicios y en todas las organizaciones psiquiátricas.
  • Estimular la cooperacón de todos a quienes le concienen los aspectos m嶮icos, psicoógicos, sociales y legales de la salud mental y la enfermedad mental
  • Poner el conocimiento de la Psiquiatr燰 a la disposicón de otros médicos, de cient璗icos de otras ramas del saber humano y del público en general
  • Apoyar los mejores intereses de los pacientes y de quienes actual o potencialmente hacen uso de los servicios de salud mental
  • Abogar por los psiquiatras
