The Obsessive-Compulsive Foundation [OCF], founded in 1986 is a world-wide, not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing public awareness of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder [OCD], as well as providing support and information to those who have OCD, their family and friends, and medical professionals.

With its more than 10,000 members, the Foundation provides referrals to both treatment centers and mental-health professional, and helps coordinate support groups, at the community level, throughout the world. Public education is conducted by the distribution of literature, lectures, and presentations. The OCF Scientific Advisory Board monitors research and developments in the treatment of OCD
