The Latino Behavioral Health Institute [LBHI] was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organization. Its goal is to encourage the quest for knowledge with respect to the behavioral health needs of the Latino community.Quality training of all persons working or interested in the Latino community is considered to be one important aspect of enhancing service to Latinos. LBHI's focus has been to provide training to persons involved in Latino behavioral health by local, national and international experts. LBHI has developed a strong network with experts in Latino behavioral health from universities, pilot studies, and programs of exemplary practice.
