October 8-9, 2007

New York, NY

Event sponsored by: Albert Einstein College of Medicine [AECOM], Center for Continuing Medical Education

This course is designed to prepare attendees for Boards and other examinations and as a review of modern psychiatry. Attendees will also improve their diagnostic skills and be brought up-to-date in several aspects of psychiatric disorders.

This is a pre-test that will complement standard psychiatry review courses and complete the review in Clinical Neurology for Psychiatrists. In this course, a small group of faculty who are experienced and well-informed about modern psychiatry and test-taking strategies will present essential information through a series of test-type questions and subsequent discussions directly with the audience. The interactive presentations will stress the main areas of psychiatry: basic science, biology and psychologic diagnosis, and treatments. They will not belabor the obvious or dwell on the esoteric. The faculty will emphasize subjects that are critical, complicated or otherwise important.
