The Association of Management (AoM) and the International Association of Management (IAoM) is a nonprofit professional organization of academicians and practitioners of management founded in 1975.

The AoM/IAoM is dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of management in the fields of organizational, human resources, information systems and technology, health care and international management, educational administration, leadership and entrepreneurship. The Association for Medical Education and Research in Substance Abuse [AMERSA] was founded in 1976 by the Career Teachers in Alcohol and Drug Abuse. It has since grown into a multidisciplinary organization of over 400 members, including physicians, osteopaths, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and dentists. AMERSA is committed to a dialogue across disciplines, which ultimately creates a deeper understanding of substance abuse, and more effective treatment and prevention strategies.
